Saturday was the final day of program at the Florida Sea Base for the first week of the 2013 spring season.

The Scuba Adventure completed their final dive of the week in the morning.
The Scuba Liveaboard returned to base Saturday afternoon.
The Sea Exploring crew arrived at the Florida Sea Base T-Dock aboard the Schooner Yankee after lunch.

The crews joined together for a great luau celebration to end their adventure.

One new Coral Reef Sailing crew arrives this afternoon for a high adventure week with Captain Giuseppe Passanisi aboard S/V Silent Harmony.  We do not have any other crew arrivals this week.

The conference team is also without participants for the coming week.  Everyone will get a day off this week!

I do not have a counter on the Florida Sea Base News website so I have no definitive way of knowing the number of readers.  (It is an additional expense and I am not doing this for economic gain.)  But, for what it’s worth, in a search for “Florida Sea Base”, this site is second on the list right behind the FSB official site.

Today will be historic as Danica Patrick will be the first female drive to start in the pole position at the Daytona 500.  Win, lose or draw, history will be made.
