PROGRAM

With the sun setting so early (around 5:30) and several crews arriving a little late on Thursday, Friday morning was very hectic at the Florida Sea Base.  But everyone eventually got on their way and all is well.

The Scuba Certification crew was in the classroom Thursday afternoon.  Yesterday they finished up the classroom in the morning and were in the pool after lunch.  The Scuba Adventure crews spent the morning completing their scuba review and went diving on Alligator Reef in the afternoon.  The Divemaster Academy candidates spent all day on the water completing three dives including two mapping dives.

Another round of crews arrived Friday and this morning will also be hectic.  But the staff has, as always, stepped up and will do whatever it takes to make the Florida Sea Base an memorable lifetime event.

WEATHER

We topped out at 79°F under overcast skies yesterday.  We didn’t quite have postcard perfect weather, but since one of the crews is from Minnesota, I feel confident they felt it was a pretty decent day.

DMA

Here are a few random photos from Divemaster Academy Class 10.  The first one is the class listening to their first dive boat safety briefing before we head out to the reef.
