The NAYLE at Sea crews returned to the Florida Sea Base yesterday to wind down the pilot program.  To the best of my knowledge, everything went swimmingly, but both the NAYLE instructors and FSB found some small opportunities for improvement.  And continuous improvement is the key to our success at the Florida Sea Base.

Since there are no sailing crews on base this week, Director of Sailing Captain Luke Knuttel took advantage of the lull and took the sailing staff snorkeling at Alligator Reef.

Captain Steve Harrison was kind enough to take command of BSA Sea Scout yesterday while Captain Carl Olshenske had a day off.  I was off base (on business) all day yesterday and di not get a report on where the divers went.  But I did hear them chattering during dinner and it sounded like they had a good day. Captain Bert Hubby took his two Scuba Adventure crews to Alligator Reef after dinner for a night dive.

We are expecting great weather through the weekend.  We may have another front punch through on Monday.
