SEA BASE ST. THOMAS

The USVI sailing program is having an incredible first season.  The 2015 season will be 50% larger, but I can’t imagine it being more amazing.  Watch this.

WEATHER

We are starting the morning without rain at all of the Florida Sea Base campuses.

The rain NW of St. Thomas is moving towards our program area, but it appears to be breaking up.  Daily showers are always possible at all our our locations at this time of year.

Looks like they are having a blast! My family sailed in the Abacos and the USVI/BVI when I was in High School (late 70’s). I imagine things have changed somewhat and those places have become much more commercialized, but it looks in the video like there is still some wilderness to be found. Cool! If our crew has a good time on our 2015 Coral Reef adventure, maybe we’ll shoot for the St. Thomas program in a couple of years. Nice to see those old Morgan OI’s still in useful service!
